Tom's Hardware Guide: RSS inventor slams Apple's podcast approach
Interesting article by Scott Fulton about Dave Winer's response to iTunes and RSS.I have to agree. Why would they put an iTunes namespace in there - media makes it much better or even use a podcast namespace or something.
What's of more interest is how Scott's comments how the tables have turned: MS is being lauded for being open, MS and IBM are working together, Apple and Intel are working together and Apple is being scrutinized for how it deals with an "open" standard.
Time will tell, to be sure.
